Marquee Size Guide for your Hampshire Marquee Hire

The Hampshire marquee sizing guide below gives an approximate size of marquee that you may need to hire, depending on number of guests, and whether they will be sitting or standing. It is intended to help provide you with a starting point when contacting us with an initial enquiry, and it shouldn’t be regarded as the definitive guide.

The amount of space required by your marquee will obviously depend on the size and shape of tables that you would prefer. Round tables seating eight to ten guests are a very popular choice, while rectangular banquet tables can provide seating for between ten and twelve people.

For the guide below, seating is based on eight guests sitting around a 5’ table with table service ( buffet serving tables haven’t been allowed for).  Taking up to 10 people,  5’6” tables are also available and though a little cosier, can be used as an alternative to the 5’ tables to give your event more room.

As a rule, a 20’ x 20’ dance floor is normally big enough for about 100 guests.

Larger sizes of Hampshire Marquees are available in clear spans of up to 30m / 40m wide and to any length.
